WELCOME TO PHOSPHORESCENCE THERAPY

Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before engaging in counseling services provided by our practice. By scheduling and attending counseling sessions, you acknowledge your understanding and acceptance of the following terms:

  1. Therapist’s Role: Our therapists are here to provide a safe and supportive space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and concerns. They will offer guidance, tools, and therapeutic techniques to assist you in your personal growth and development. However, it is important to note that the therapist’s role is not to provide direct solutions or to be held liable for your healing and well-being.

  2. Client’s Responsibility: As a client, you understand and accept that you are responsible for your own healing journey and overall well-being. You acknowledge that counseling is a collaborative process, and your active participation and commitment are vital to the success of the therapeutic process. It is important to be open, honest, and willing to explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

  3. Limits of Confidentiality: Confidentiality is of utmost importance in the counseling relationship. Our therapists adhere to strict professional and ethical guidelines to ensure the privacy and confidentiality of your information. However, there are legal and ethical limits to confidentiality. In situations where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or where required by law, our therapists may be obligated to disclose relevant information to appropriate authorities or parties involved. Your therapist will discuss these limits with you during your initial session.

  4. Assumption of Risks: Counseling involves emotional exploration and introspection, which may bring up various emotions, including discomfort, sadness, or temporary exacerbation of symptoms. It is important to understand that progress may not always be linear, and the therapeutic process may have ups and downs. By engaging in counseling, you acknowledge and assume the inherent risks associated with emotional exploration and understand that it is a natural part of the therapeutic journey.

  5. Cancellation Policy: We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise that require you to cancel or reschedule your counseling session. We kindly request that you provide us with at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Please note that sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

  6. No Guarantee of Outcomes: While our therapists strive to provide high-quality counseling services, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results. The effectiveness of counseling varies for each individual, and progress depends on various factors, including your active participation and commitment to the therapeutic process.

  7. Professional Referrals: In some cases, your therapist may determine that your needs require additional or specialized services beyond their scope of practice. In such instances, they may provide appropriate referrals to other professionals or resources that can better address your specific needs.

  8. Legal Disclaimer: Our counseling services are not a substitute for medical or psychiatric treatment. If you have concerns about your physical or mental health, we strongly recommend consulting with a qualified healthcare professional for a comprehensive evaluation and appropriate care.

By engaging in counseling services provided by our practice, you indicate your agreement to these terms and conditions. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding these terms, please discuss them with your therapist before proceeding with counseling sessions. We appreciate your understanding and commitment to your personal growth and well-being.
